Troubles Shooting


Trouble symptoms



1) The clutch slips

(1)  The clutch disk or clutch plate is stained with oil.
(2)     Friction disk is abraded seriously or burnt down.
(3)     The disk spring’s pressure declined.
(4)     The free path is not enough, or no free path.
(5)     The driven disk is deformed.

(1) Wash them clean with gasoline, and find out the cause and remedy it.
(2)      Replace

(4)  Readjust it as per the requirement
(5)  Replace the driven disk

2)Clutch cannot be separated completely or have noise when shifting

(1)     The pedal’s free path is too large, and the working path is too small.
(2)     The driven disk warps too much

(1)     Readjust the pedal’s free path up to 25mm-30mm
(2)     Replace
(3)     Adjust it as per the requirement.

3) The tractor is shivering at starting.

(1)     The three separating lever ends are not at a same plane
(2)     The friction disk and the driven disk are stained with oil
(3)     The driven disk warps
(4)     The fixed screw of flywheel and clutch housing loosened

(1)     Adjust it as per the requirement.

(2)     Clean friction disk and driven disk.

(3)  Replace

Trouble symptoms



1) It is difficult to gear, or unable to gear on

(1)     The clutch does not separated completely
(2)     Gearshift interlock lever is too long
(3)     Gearshift lever poker head are worn seriously
(4)     Mesh sleeve end face and gear end face are abraded seriously, or damaged

(1)     Remedy it
(2)     Adjust to short
(3)     Replace

(4)     Replace or repair

2) The gear disconnects itself

(1)     Gearshift interlock lever is too short
(2)     Poking fork positioning slot is worn seriously
(3)     Interlock pin spring pressure isn’t enough
(4)     Bearing of gear shaft abraded and make shaft inclined
(5)     Spline of teeth seat are worn

(1)  Adjust to longer
(2)     Replace poking fork shaft

(3)     Adjust or replace the spring
(4)     Replace bearing

(5)     Replace teeth seat

3)  Gears disorder

(1)     Gearshift lever poker head abraded
(2)     Gearshift guiding-plate slot abraded seriously
(3)     Poking fork and poking slot of mesh sleeve abraded
(4)     Interlock pin and poking shaft positioning slot abraded

(1)     Repair or replace
(2)     Replace

4) Checking lid of gearbox bottom leak

(1)      Engine crankshaft rear oil seal lose effective
(2)      Gearbox intake shaft oil seal lose effective
(3)      Gearbox intake shaft bearing-seat leak

(1)     Replace oil seal

(2)     Replace oil seal
(3)     Glue it, then reinstall

5) There are hum or slap noises in the gearbox

(1)     Gears are unclear
(2)     The gear abraded heavily, or the tooth face peels off, or the gear teeth are broken. 
(3)     Bearing abraded seriously or damaged
(4)  Lubricant oil is not enough or does not conform to the requirement.

Rear axle and braking system

Trouble symptoms



1)  Noise increased in
   the Bevel transmission

(1)     Bearing clearance of the small helical bevel is too large
(2)     Gear engagement is abnormal
(3)     Bearings or gears of helical bevel pair damaged
(4)     Differential shaft abraded and seized.
(5)     The planetary gear or washer abraded
(6)     Differential bearing abraded or damaged

(1)      Adjust

(2)      Readjust
(3)      Replace

(4)      Replace
(5)      Replace gear or washer
(6)  Replace bearing

2) Small helical bevel

(1)     Pre-tension is too much
(2)     Poor lubrication
(3)     Side clearance of helical bevel pair are too narrow

(1)     Readjust
(2)     Check oil level, replenish if need
(3)     Readjust clearance

3) Final transmission noise is abnormal

(1)     Fixed bolt of planetary frame loosen, block washer damaged
(2)     Bearing, gear or shaft damaged

(1)     Fasten bolt as per the requirement, replace block washer
(2)     Replace them

4) Brake fails

(1)     The brake disk is worn seriously, or worn eccentrically.
(2)     No enough braking liquid or pipe leaks
(3)     Free path of brake pedal is too large
(4)     Friction disk abraded seriously or partially
(5)     Brake pump valve get stuck

(1)     Empty air in the pipe

(2)     Eliminate leaks and refill liquid
(3)     Readjust
(4)     Replace disk
(5)  Clean the brake pump

5) Tractor steer wander during braking

(1)     The left and right brake pedals’ free paths are different
(2)     The brake disk is damaged in one side
(3)     Brake pipe leaks in one side
(4)     Brake pipe intake air in one side
(5)     Air pressures of the two rear tires are different.

(1)     Adjust

(2)     Replace
(3)     Eliminate leaking points
(4)     Empty the air
(5)     Check up and blow up the tires as per specified

Working system

Trouble symptoms



1) The front tires are worn seriously

(1)     The front wheel rim or spoke deformed seriously.
(2)     The front wheel toe-in adjust improperly
(3)     The steering knuckle and two pintles of oil cylinder are worn seriously
(4)     The air pressure is insufficient when transporting
(5)     The front axles can’t disengage when transporting
(6)     The front tire tread installed oppositely

(1)     Correct them

(2)     Adjust toe-in
(3)     Replace pintles

(4)     Check and blow up the tire

(5)     Disengage it
(6)     Reinstall it as per the requirement

2) The front wheels are swaying 

(1)     Ball pin, oil cylinder, fasten nuts and bolts of steer swing arm loosened
(2)     The front toe-in adjusted improperly
(3)     Bearing clearance is too large or abraded heavily
(4)     Steer pintle is worn seriously
(5)     The front wheel rim deformed seriously.

(1)     Check and fasten

(2)     Adjust
(3)     Adjust or replace bearing

(4)     Replace
(5)     Correct front wheel rim

3) Too big noise (4WD)

(1)     Front bevel transmission gear engage badly
(2)     Bevel transmission bearing clearance is too large
(3)     Differential shaft are worn or damaged
(4)     Planetary gear or washer damaged
(5)     Final transmission bevel pair engage badly

(1)     Readjust

(2)     Adjust or replace

(3)     Replace
(4)     Replace
(5)     Adjust

4) The transmission shaft and its jacket is heated (4WD)

(1)     The transmission shaft bent or deformed seriously, friction appeared
(2)     Central support bearing seat loosened

(1)     Correct or replace shaft
(2)     Fasten it as per the requirement

5) There is large noise in the transfer box (4WD)

(1)     Too high gear speed
(2)     Bearing or gear are worn seriously

(1)     Gear on low speed gear
(2)     Replace or repair.

Hydraulic steering system

Trouble symptoms




1) Oil leakage

(1)     Rubber ring or bolt of every pipe joint loosened
(2)     Rubber ring of hydraulic steer valve, stator and other components connection faces damaged
(3)     Shaft neck rubber ring damaged
(4)     Bolt of the steer connection faces loosened

(1)     Replace ring or fasten bolt

(2)     Clean or replace ring


(3)     Replace
(4)     Fasten bolt


2) Steering is too heavy

(1)     Gear pump supply oil insufficiently, inside leak or filter net in the oil case choked
(2)     Air in the steering system, oil case cannot move sometime when steering
(3)     Oil level of steering oil case is too low
(4)     Safety valve spring become weak or ball unseal, steering easily when light load, vice verse
(5)     Oil viscosity exceeded
(6)     Ball valve lose effective, steer wheel work heavily when steer fast or slowly, and steer powerlessly
(7)     Steer system leak, include inside or outside leakage

(1)     Check pump and clean filter net

(2)  Empty the air and check

(3)  Replenish oil to specified level
(4)  Clean and adjust the spring pressure

(5)  Use specified oil
(6)  Clean, maintain or replace


(7)  Check and eliminate the leakage



3) Steering failed

(1)     Poker pin broken or deformed
(2)     Interlink shaft split end broken or deformed
(3)     Rotor and interlink shaft position misplace each other
(4)     Steering oil case piston or its seal ring damaged

(1)     Replace poker pin
(2)     Replace interlink shaft
(3)     Reinstall

(4)     Replace


4) Steering  wheel can’t automatically restore to the neutral position

(1)     Leaf spring is broken
(2)     The steer shaft and pillar sleeve are eccentric, the resistance is too large
(3)     Steer shaft blocks the valve core
(4)     Neutral position pressure decrease too large or steerer offload when steering wheel stop (liable to wander)
(5)     The steer shaft and valve core are eccentric

(1)     Replace
(2)     Repair or replace

(3)     Repair
(4)     Repair or replace


(5)     Reinstall and adjust


5) No manual steering

(1)     The clearance of rotor and stator is too large
(2)     Oil case piston have bad seal, when using power steering, the piston goes to the utmost end and the driver cannot evidently feel the end position. Oil case cannot move when steering wheel turn

(1)     Replace rotor and stator
(2)     Replace piston seal ring



6) Steering is not sensitive

(1)      The clearance of valve core and sleeve is too large
(2)      The clearance of interlink shaft and poker pin is too large
(3)      The clearance of interlink shaft and rotor is too large
(4)      Returning leaf spring are broken or too soft

(1)     Replace

(2)     Replace

(3)     Replace

(4)     Replace

Hydraulic suspension system






1) Cannot lift whenever light load or heavy load

(1)     Oil level in the lifer is too low
(2)     Filter net choked seriously
(3)     Air enter into oil intake pipe
(4)     Gear pump does not work
(5)     Spring pins of handle shaft at inner or outer end peel off
(6)     Sway bar in the distributor peel off
(7)     Main control valve stuck in the neutral or descending position, or oil returning valve stuck at open position

(1)     Replenish oil to specified level
(2)     Clean or replace filter net
(3)     Check pipe joint
(4)     Check, repair or replace pump
(5)     Reinstall spring pin

(6)     Open distributor and install sway bar well
(7)     Open distributor and clean valves

2) Lift up if light load, unable lift or lift slowly when with heavy load

(1)     Oil intake pipe hollow or air in
(2)     System safety valve adjust improperly
(3)     Oil cylinder safety valve adjust improperly
(4)     Gear pump abraded seriously and insufficient pressure
(5)     Oil cylinder seal ring leak

(1)     Check pipe and filter
(2)     Adjust or replace valve
(3)     Adjust or replace valve

(4)     Repair or replace the pump

(5)     Replace seal ring

3) Implement shivering during lifting, or lift slowly

(1)     Filter is choked
(2)     Oil intake pipe enter air
(3)     Gear pump failed
(4)     Hydraulic oil level is too low

(1)     Clean or replace filter core
(2)     Eliminate air leakage of joint and O-ring
(3)     Replace gear pump
(4)     Replenish oil as per the requirement

4) Implement frequently “nod” when lifting, Static sink goes fast when engine extinguished


(1)     Distributor single direction valve seal poorly
(2)     Sink valve seal poorly
(3)     Oil cylinder safety valve leak or adjust improperly
(4)     O-ring of oil cylinder piston damage to leak
(5)     Seal ring between distributor or cylinder head with lifter housing intake oil hole install poorly to peel off or damaged

(1)     Clean or grind by paste if necessary

(2)     Clean or grind sink valve
(3)     Repair or readjust valve

(4)     Replace O-ring

(5)     Check and replace seal ring


5) Gear pump hum when handle at lifting position

(1) Adjust incorrectly, inner lifting arm push lifter housing make safety valve open

(1) First measure lifting height at that time, then readjust, shorten draft and position control lever to make top lifting position lower than original position


6) Implement cannot be lifted


(1)     Main control valve stuck
(2)     Sink valve blocked
(3)     Pushing pin become short, or sink valve assembly loosen and spin out, make sink valve cannot open
(4)     Oil routine of cylinder head to cylinder closed

(1)     Clean
(2)     Clean
(3)     Put off valve stopper, readjust the clearance or fasten it

(4)     Make oil routine through


Air braking system

Troubles symptoms



1) Air pressure is insufficient

(1)     Pipe leak air
(2)     Pump valve piece abraded or spring damaged
(3)     Pump piston ring and liner abraded seriously
(4)     Air pressure meter does not work
(5)     Safety valve closed untightly

(1)     Check leakage and remedy
(2)     Replace

(3)     Replace piston and liner

(4)     Repair or replace meter
(5)     Check or replace

2) Cut-off braking valve cannot return

(1)     Dust enter into cut-off braking valve
(2)     Oil or water enter into cut-off braking valve

(1)     Clean
(2)     Drain off oil or water in the tank, clean the valve

3) Cut-off braking valve cannot exhaust air

(1)     Stand bar stuck
(2)     Returning spring broken or tension become weak

(1)     Check, make it smoothly
